About Jessica

Jessica Owens’s distinguished career reflects over 25 years of service in the Marine Corps, both active duty and reserves, alongside significant contributions to the aerospace industry with Northrop Grumman Corporation and academia as an adjunct professor for Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.

Jessica is a seasoned leader with extensive flight experience as an AH-1 attack helicopter pilot (with over 2500 hours) and a strong educational background, including a Master’s in Aeronautical Science and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, San Diego.  She excels at team building, fostering employee engagement, and driving strategic decision-making.

Jessica’s background encompasses program and operations management, human resources leadership, and pilot instruction, adeptly leveraging data and technology to enhance organizational performance. Her expertise spans program management (cost, schedule, and technical performance), contract negotiation, readiness programs, personnel management, and pilot training (curriculum development and instruction).

As a Marine Corps AH-1W pilot and UC-12W pilot, Jessica trained hundreds of pilots in various roles. Her personal military decorations include the Legion of Merit, Air Medal with bronze numeral 9, Navy Commendation Medal with gold star, and the Navy Achievement Medal.

Jessica’s commitment to excellence extends beyond her professional life, as she is actively involved in her community and dedicated to her family. She is a member of organizations such as the Chickasaw Warrior Society and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
